Norman's Story...
Meet Norman, an adorable Beagle/Hound mix who is just as adorable in person!! He is young boy approx. 7 months old-37 lbs and just full of energy! He loves to play, he is terrific with other dogs and cats. He is in foster with 5 other dogs and loves to run around in the back yard playing! He would do really well with another dog or cat! Almost preferred. He is just an all around sweet boy who is looking for someone to show him what love, life and family is all about. His foster says that he need work with his leash walking but, doing better day by day. He is willing to learn and has so much love to give. His Foster Family is in love with him and will be sad to see him go. They say he is a very smart boy!

He was found as a stray down in NC and was rescued from a high kill shelter. Norman's life has already begun to change why not make room for him and let him show you what he is made of! Contact us if you are interested in adopting Norman. Paws & Kisses

About Our Rescue Group...
We are all in this together – Fur Babies is strictly a volunteer organization working to help save animals in need.
Fur Babies Rescue is based in New Jersey. Our goal is to help save the sweet babies from the High Kill Shelters who deserve a chance to have a wonderful beautiful life some may have never known!
We are not a facility! We are volunteer based and we rescue animals in need and hope to provide an immediate loving home for these animals. We work and depend solely on our volunteers for fostering, home visits, transport etc.

These animals are unwanted, abused, neglected or abandoned, all of which is no fault of their own. We have the love to give to these animals and will continue to strive to help those animals in need. We urge everyone to educate themselves with spaying/neutering your animal to help reduce the population of these animals and the need for so many to be thrown into shelters!

Having an animal is a life time commitment! We take our animals very serious and hope that you will too, should you decide to adopt from us. As long as we can breathe we will continue to be the voice of these fur babies and hope that you will share in being their voice too!

If you would like to volunteer, become a foster, home visit person, or transport coordinator, please contact us via email to fill out an application!

We welcome and encourage all of our adopters to maintain a life long friendship with us so we can continue to see you and your animal grow!

Our Adoption Process...
Our goal is to match up the right person with these animals that will give them the love they are so deserving of. ♥ We take all of our adoptions very serious. We have an application that must be filled out followed by a home visit check and then a contract. We do make visits through out the first year the animal is placed. We have an adoption donation fee which includes all shots/spay/neuter, micro chip and all toys, food, supplies our animals are in foster with already. This amount is is below what we normally spend to do all this and we do hope to encourage people to donate through out the year to help us continue our process of saving these animals!
We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties...
Somerset County, Morris County, Hunterdon County, Middlesex County, Warren County, Union County, Ocean County, Monmouth County

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Norman, a Bridgewater Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Bridgewater, or seeking a Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Bridgewater.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bridgewater already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bridgewater breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bridgewater paves the way for another one to be saved.
