Jesse-Adopted!'s Story...
Jesse and Sassy were surrendered by an owner who couldn't take them with him when he moved. Jesse is a strong and playful girl.. She has a dominant personality but might be fine living with a submissive dog or would be great as an only dog where she can get all of the attention. She does not like cats or small animals. Jesse deserves a new loving owner and home that will make her a special part of the family. Potential adopters should be familiar with the German Shepherds and be able to handle her as she weighs approximately 100 pounds. She loves attention and affection and needs daily exercise as we are trying to take some excess weight off her. She would love to be the center of attention and find her new forever family. A home with a fenced back yard is desired for her to be able to run around in. Birth date 1/1/05

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jesse-Adopted!, a Detroit German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Detroit, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Detroit.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Detroit already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Detroit breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Detroit paves the way for another one to be saved.
