Sparkle-Adopted!'s Story...
Sparkle is a part of Sasha's litter of seven puppies. Sparkle is appropriately named as she can just light up a room with her friendly playfulness. She gets along fine with the other dogs at her foster home. She loves all kinds of toys, and enjoys tugging with humans. Sparkle is mostly housebroken but still might have an occasional accident and understands basic commands, such as "sit", "stay", "no", and "leave it". After observing her with the cat at her foster home we feel she should be placed in a home without cats. Birth date 9/27/12

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sparkle-Adopted!, a Detroit Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Detroit, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Detroit.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Detroit already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Detroit breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Detroit paves the way for another one to be saved.
