Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Huey is a 5-6 year old male beagle mix. Huey was found as a stray dog so we don’t know what he is mixed with but we do know that he is incredibly sweet and fun! Huey loves to play with toys and with other dogs. He is in foster care with four other dogs of all sizes and he fits in wonderfully. His favorite playmate is an 8 year old, 100 pound Great Pyrenees who is very gentle with him. They love to roll around on the floor together. Even though Huey was found as a stray we believe his previous owners kept him outside and didn’t provide him with any vet care. Huey has been treated for lyme disease. He never showed any symptoms but did test positive. He was treated with a simple course of antibiotics. Huey is also blind in one eye. The vet believes this is due to an eye injury that was never treated. Despite this you would never know that Huey can’t see from one eye. He gets around just fine and only occasionally bumps in to things. (And when he does it’s really cute!) He is very loving and sweet. He makes cute little snorty sounds and hops down the stairs like a rabbit. He’s full of life and fun and would just love to have a forever family to call his own. Huey is neutered, vaccinated and weighs 23 pounds. Huey is about 98% crate and house trained. Huey runs to the door and jumps at it when he needs to go out.
