Major's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Major's Story...
Major is a pure-bred white and tan Pekingese who was rescued from a high kill shelter where he was on the euthanasia list due to overcrowding at the shelter. This 14-lbs neutered male is a mush bucket of super soft fur and just melts in to your body when you hold him close! Major is an easy-going boy who gets along well with everyone he meets. He is not a barker, is crate trained, walks well on a leash and just likes to hang out. Would be suitable for a family with older children, a single or professional who works at least P/T from the home or a semi-retired or retired couple.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Major, a Orange Pekingese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pekingese for sale in Orange, or seeking a Pekingese dog from a breeder in Orange.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Orange already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Orange breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pekingese breeders who help with Pekingese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Orange paves the way for another one to be saved.
