Meow! My name is Jo (diabetic Sr.)
Jo (diabetic Sr.)'s Info...
I am already spayed, a special needs pet, and good with cats.
Jo is a special needs diabetic senior, (Courtesy post) Jo's story as told by her mommy:
I am moving to California in January and am still looking for a home for Jo. My parents have offered to take care of her until I can find her a home tho she has to spend most of her time in the basement (when I am home she hangs out with me in my room).
Jo is a special needs cat bc she has diabetes. She is 12 years old, spayed and loves people tho she is very shy and doesn't like loud noises. She is very talkative and affectionate and loves to sleep. She doesn't mind other cats but would prefer a home where she isn't' asked to play, wrestle, etc. I just started her on a high protein diet (science diet) which is supposed to increase her chances of remission.

We love and want to help animals in need. We want to educate people about the importance of neutering their pets. To make the public understand the enormity of the pet over population problem. To alleviate the endless suffering and euthansia of unwanted and homeless pets.
We would like to put an end to puppymills and BSL(Breed Specific Laws).
and improve the conditions of our local county shelter. In the end we want to save unwanted pets and rehome them to loving people and give them a second chance.
To meet our pets please call to set up an appointment 419-458-0115 Most of our pets are in A.S.A.P. foster care or in their owners current home. With the majority of pets in the Upper Sandusky OH area. We also try to promote the dogs in our local pound whenever we are able to get info on them.
We are also now on Facebook and Petfinder and Twitter and our new website www.asaprescue.org Most pets are in the Wyandot county and surrounding areas in Ohio. Most of our fosters are gracious enough to drive part or all of the way to an approved adopters home when possible.
Contact us by email or phone.and inquire if pet is still available. The adoption fee for most dogs is $175.00 and cats are usually $25 -$50
Go to www.asaprescue.org to fill out an application. After your application has been approved you will be called and arrangements can be made to select and take home your new family member. Adoption fee is paid when you pick up/receive your pet.
Most are pets are vet checked, neutered., vacc, wormed, and heartworm tested before adoption. With the exception of young puppies/kittens who will be given vouchers.
We are always in need of finances and more foster homes. The more foster homes we have the more lives we can save together. To fill out an application to Adopt or Foster a pet please go to www.asaprescue.org
