FOSTERED IN KS but LONG DISTANCE ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT CAN BE DISCUSSED> Journey is about 5 to 6 years old, in the prime of his life. , but we can discuss long distance adoptions and transportation options He is a beautiful brown merle boy that is a real sweetheart. If you are looking for a new best friend, look no further! Whoever said "dog is man's best friend " must have been talking about Journey. He LOVES to go with you and if there is an open car door, he's there. He will sit quietly and wait until you call him out or take him for a ride. Journey is quiet on a leash and stays with you when you arrive at your destination. He loves to cuddle with his family and sometimes forgets he is not a lap dog. He is house trained, sleeps in his crate and will do just about anything for a treat. He gets along well with our cats, but does have prey drive and might chase a cat who runs from him. Journey loves kids, although they can make him nervous so he will do best in a home with older kids. I actually see him doing best with an active, older couple or single looking for a companion. He will be as devoted to you as you are to him. Journey tested HW+ at the shelter and is currently on a slow kill treatment method. He does not show any signs of being anything other than a healthy adult dog. Lets make the rest of his journey his forever home full of love and security.
