Paris's Story...
Hi person! I just met you, and I love you! I'm the ever-so-perfect Miss Paris. The four years of m life have been hard for me, but you'd never know it from my outlook on life- I love to give dainty little kisses, snuggle up on the couch, get belly rubs, and have the biggest grin you've ever seen! I'm a delicate 65lbs but am very leggy (like a supermodel- and I love to be dressed up like one too!). All I want is a family of my own- preferably one with kids I can love and cuddle and play with. I may be big, but I am gentle with all children from infants to teenagers, and would be just the best dog ever for a family. If you don't have kids, that's fine too- I'd love to be your running partner, sofa sleeper, or certified therapy dog to visit nursing homes and hospitals. I don't really care what you want me to do, I'll be everything you want!

I know how to sit, down, shake with both paws, put my paws on your shoulders and 'slow dance' (and steal kisses while we do), walk on a treadmill, am kennel trained, and I have a wonderful down-stay called a 'place' that helps me stay out of your way while you cook or clean.

I am wonderful with other dogs, though occasionally I get so excited that I bark- and I have a big bark! Do you have what it takes to be my family? I would love a family!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Paris, a Louisville Pointer/Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer/Great Dane for sale in Louisville, or seeking a Pointer/Great Dane dog from a breeder in Louisville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Louisville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Louisville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer/Great Dane breeders who help with Pointer/Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Louisville paves the way for another one to be saved.
