Blaze's Story...
Hi my name is Blaze. I am a handsome blue-eyed 2 1/2 year old Siberian Husky who is looking for my forever home. Paws 4 Humanity Inc rescued me from the Henry County Shelter in McDonough, GA as I was scheduled to be put down as I had one day left to live. Paws 4 Humanity Inc came to my rescue and coordinated with a local rescue to pull me from the shelter and then lined up volunteers to transport me from McDounough, GA to Orange Park, FL. I arrived in Orange Park in the evening at roughly 7:30pm in the Petsmart Oakleaf parking lot and was met by the President of Paws 4 Humanity Inc. This was the first day of the beginning of the rest of my life and I wasn't going to loose site of my goal to find my forever home.

The transport driver mentioned that I was well behaved and was a great ride in the car the entrie trip from Georgia to Florida. The Paws 4 Humanity Inc President and my new foster mom, celebrated my arrival with yummy treats, water, a blue bandana and a lot of hugs and kisses. I felt like a doggy movie star.

I am a very well mannered boy, house trained, crate trained and obedience trained. I know the commands sit, down, stay and come when called. I love going for walks in the early morning and at night and really enjoy my quality time with my family. I will sit and watch tv with my family, romp around iin the yard and fetch toys, and even cuddle up next to you. And it surely helps that I am easy on the eyes or as you humans say am "Eye Candy". I am a very lovable kind of guy and even though I enjpy my foster home and foster family, I would really like to find my forever home.

If you would you are interesed in meeting yours truly and would like to see the dog that put the word stud in "stud muffin" than I am your man. Please contact Paws 4 Humanity Inc at 904 771-9516 or shoot an email request to paws4humanity@att.net to request an adoption application which is the first step in their adoption process. Once your adoption application is approved you will then be able to meet me and discover for yourself just what a handsome, stunningly good looking and lovable guy that I really am. My charming personality, handsome good looks and well mannered personality will undoubtedly pull at your heartsrings where you can't help but want to take me home forever! See you soon! Love and kisses - Blaze.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blaze, a Orange Park Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky for sale in Orange Park, or seeking a Husky dog from a breeder in Orange Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Orange Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Orange Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky breeders who help with Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Orange Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
