Marylin's Story...
MARYLIN approx. 2yr old long haired Manx/Cyrmic She likes dogs, but does not care for cats especially kittens. She is extremely affectionate. She was extremely good for the vet. Even when they drew blood,micro-chipped her and cut her nails. She was really great for a bath. She likes to be brushed. I would not suggest small children just because I don't know how she would be. She is FIV pos. but is in good health. She uses the litterbox. . I put the remote in front of her to give you an idea of her size. She grooms herself well.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marylin, a Port Republic Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Port Republic, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Port Republic.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Port Republic already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Port Republic breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Port Republic paves the way for another one to be saved.
