URGENT! Pepper is a very sweet and loving dog who is a great size, between 30-35 lbs. She is an affectionate 5-year-old spayed Chow/Shepherd mix who is housebroken, is a house dog, and just loves to be with you. She has a calm demeanor about her and is very happy when she can sit at your feet or next to you on the couch. She does not bark at just anything. I always feel safe wherever I go when I am with her. Pepper is a protector but a love bug. You can see the smile on her face when you rub her stomach and give her good praise. She is the best backseat driver ever, and loves the wind in her face. She also is good when you are away. She will get comfy and curled up and rest while you are not at home and will greet you by nudging your hand and wagging her tail when you walk in the door.
Pepper gets along well with other dogs as long as they are on the calmer side. She has lived with a 9-year-old female Maltipoo and a 4-year-old male Springer Spaniel. She walks well on the leash and really loves her walks. Pepper appreciates when her surroundings are on the calmer side, rather on the “crazy energy” side. With cats, she will run and chase them as many dogs would, so a home with no cats is best to be on the safe side. Pepper is up-to-date on her vaccinations but is not microchipped.
Pepper needs a loving home because her owner has come upon very dire life circumstances. We truly do not wish for Pepper to end up being taken to the public animal shelter. If you are interested in Pepper, please contact Kerri at: kerriann0706@gmail.com or call: 951-271-2072.
