Hello world, my name is Yogi! I am a friendly, handsome 3.5 year-old medium energy beagle boy. They say great things come in small packages; well they meant that about me…I am only about 16 pounds. I was recently retired from biomedical research, which means I lived most of my life in a research facility. But don’t worry I am catching on really quick! I am learning more about this crazy world everyday. I’ve already learned all about the stairs, I’m going up and down them like a pro! I’ve also learned about house-training and I’m doing great in my foster home. But, I think my favorite discovery by far is TREATS; I mean oh my goodness, where have these things been all my life they are SOOOOO tasty!!! Sometimes sudden loud noises scare me, but I get over them really quickly.
In beagle terms I am definitely medium energy; I am a big couch potato but I also love to run around and play in the backyard. Speaking of backyards, I would LOVE a fenced in yard at my forever home, but I could be taught to walk on a leash. If you are looking for a super cute snuggle buddy then look no further, I love to cuddle up with my foster mom on the couch at night.
I am an extremely sweet guy, everyone says so, I am buddies with the dogs and the cat in my foster home, so furry brothers and sisters would be great but aren’t a requirement. Human brothers and sisters would be great too…I love playing with children!
