Ruby's Story...
Meet Ruby! She is a beautiful brindle hound mix. She is approximately three years old and 45lbs. She came to us as an owner surrender as the family didn't enough time to give her after having a baby. Ruby is a very laid back dog who loves to lounge around the house and in her crate. She also loves her walks and does good with other dogs. Ruby loves her toys and her bones and loves to collect them and put them in her spot. Ruby would be fine with kids also. She is beautiful and sweet and deserves a home that can give her that love and attention she deserves.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ruby, a Worcester Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Worcester, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Worcester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Worcester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Worcester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Worcester paves the way for another one to be saved.
