My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sable is a beautiful purebred blond girl whose elderly owners were no longer able to care for her. Sable is 8 years old and of average size weighing about 55 to 60 lbs. She was taken to a local shelter and when Lucky Lab learned of her predicament she became a Lucky Lab and is now in a wonderful foster home. Sable has lived a life with love and attention and is adjusting to all the changes in her life very well. She is in a home now with 4 young children and 2 canine foster siblings. Her foster mom says she is the nicest and sweetest girl ever. She loves treats and belly rubs and just hanging around her people. Sable would be great in most any family situation – a young family, empty nesters or the single person looking for a companion. She does extremely well in the house and is housebroken. Sable is a low/medium energy girl for her age and would love to go for walks, hiking, car rides and all that good stuff. She is very eager to please and loves to get hugs and just be around her people. Sable comes with AKC paperwork. We are sure she would be fine with kitties because of her mellow and loving personality.
Sable is spayed, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations including rabies and micro-chipped. She is also on flea and tick preventative and heartworm preventative.
