Romeo's Story...
"Hi there everyone...if you are looking for a very cuddly, wonderfully sweet and very loving buff-colored Cocker Spaniel fellow, then look no further than my kennel. My name is ROMEO. I'm eight years old, and I'm in need of a new forever home with you. I really love and enjoy going for walks, and walk perfectly while on the leash, too. I'm a great size to be that perfect house dog, as well. I get along great with other dogs, I'm house trained, and I love people! Since I'm a "Super Senior," MY ADOPTION FEE IS ONLY $30, and that includes my microchip and a free visit to one of our local vets. I'd only need a smallish yard, where I could enjoy myself, and I'd love to have one of those soft and snuggly dog beds of my very own in the house, so that I could always be close to my person or my family. I've been dreaming of a new forever home, so I am hoping that you'll stop by our shelter soon. Please, won't you help me make my dreams of a new home come true forever? In case you didn't know, Cocker Spaniels are really wonderful dogs, so I hope to see you soon. Just ask our kind Shelter Staff to introduce you to the very sweet, loving, and handsome fellow whose name is ROMEO. We just might discover that we are meant to be together "fur"ever. You can bet that I'll be watching and waiting for you, and also listening for the sound of your footsteps near my kennel gate, and then I will know for sure that you have come to meet me and perhaps take me home with you. Hope to see you real soon. Love, Romeo" Kennel #28

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Romeo, a El Cajon Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
