Malachi's Story...
Malachi, "Ky" for short, is a beautiful 3 year (approx.), male, AKC registered purebred rottweiler. He knows basic obedience commands, and listens well. He does great with people of all ages and sizes. Cats are unknown, and he likes some/most dogs. He grew up with Jazz who is also up for adoption. However Jazz picks on him and bites him to the point that he bleeds sometimes. Therefore we feel it is best to separate this couple, unless their adopter is an experienced strong leader. Apart they are easy. Ky is very affectionate, and loves his belly rubs!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Malachi, a Gilbert Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
