Ruff Ruff! My name is Stormie
|Breed:||American Bulldog/American Staffordshire Terrier Mix||Color:||White - With Brown Or Chocolate||Age:||Adult|
|Size:||Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)||Sex:||Female|
I am already spayed, housetrained, and up to date with shots.
Stormie was born April 2012, and is a super affectionate young lady, that can usually be found curled up on the sofa, waiting to be petted and doted on. Walks great on a harness, so would enjoy long walks with her human. Stormie would thrive in a low-key household, with a single woman, or a nice couple.She's up-to-date on vaccinations and has been spayed. If you, or someone you know, are interested in Stormie, please contact Nadia at email@example.com Thanks!

Rescue Group Info...
We rescue in a low income area of Houston called the 5th Ward. We founded Forgotten Dogs of the 5th Ward Project November of 2011 to address what we saw as an obvious need to help the many stray dogs we were seeing in there. We set up feeding stations and network and pull as many as we can when a foster home or no-kill rescue group says they can take them in. One of our goals is education and we provide residents with vouchers that cover the complete cost of having their animals altered and vaccinated against rabies. In addition, we provide other vaccinations and worming in the field free of charge. Since November 2011 we have grown in size and have rescued over 300 dogs and a few cats from the area. We are launching a program called Habitat for Hounds through which we will donate doghouses and blankets to residents for their dogs that are kept outside. Our website is forgottendogs.org and we are a 501c3.
We do not have a regular adoption site at this time, but stay tuned to our facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/ForgottenDogs5) for our upcoming events!
Our adoption fee is $125. We have an online application and a contract and all dogs/puppies are either spayed/neutered prior to adoption if old enough or arrangements are made to have them spayed/neutered afterwards.
