MEET DASH! - NEEDS FOSTER OR ADOPTER ASAP! (In temporary boarding)
NOTE: This dog is currently located in San Rafael area. Transport can be arranged to Sac/Davis area for approved foster or adopter.

"DASH" is a handsome male white and black Border Collie/terrier mix that is about 8 months old and weighs 50lbs.
He is a slender sweet, energetic pup and his tail just never stops going because he is so happy! He has puppy energy, but he is also easy going and at times can be somewhat submissive and will flip over to offer up his tummy for a good rub! He has striking black markings that give him a very unique look. (some people say he has a "Holstein cow" pattern!) :-)
Dash was in a rural high kill shelter and was on Death Row simply because there was no space for him. When we heard about this young pup and saw his adorable face, we knew we had to step up and save him. We were able to get him into temporary boarding to save his life, but now he needs to be in a home environment with a Foster or Adopter ASAP!
Dash is quite a strong boy and right now needs some work on his manners - not surprising for a young guy that has just come from spending time cooped up in jail. He has some learning to do to become a good canine citizen. Therefore, he needs a home that will spend time doing training with him. He is just waiting to get the hang of your family life, and would love it if you take him to puppy school. He will learn quickly and will do fine walking with a no-pull harness. Dash is a sweet boy that will make a wonderful companion!
