Sassie-VA's Info...

Sassie-VA's Story...
My name is Sassie and I am looking for a fur-ever home. I'm a happy Shih Tzu of about 4 years old. I'm a very sweet and loving little girl. I love to ride in the car and I'm very good at it! I'd love to share your favorite seat with you and cuddle up to sleep with you. I am very nice to other dogs & cats - however, if your kitties are game, I'll gladly chase them around the house! But if they just like to hang out and don't pay me any attention, I'll just ignore them.

I have some skin allergies and need to eat quality food with no artificial preservatives, grains, or artificial coloring - easy to find at your local pet supermarket. I also tend to be a little chilly so if you could get me a couple of jackets it would really help me stay warm.

If you have a place in your heart and home for a beautiful little gray and white Shih Tzu girl like me, I'd really appreciate the opportunity to check you out. You may just be the person I'm looking for!

I'm being fostered in Suffolk, VA and my asking adoption fee is $275.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sassie-VA, a Suffolk Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Suffolk, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Suffolk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Suffolk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Suffolk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Suffolk paves the way for another one to be saved.
