Sarge's Story...
Sarge at your service, an eager to please pal, a playful pup, a lovable bloke. I am about 1 year old, already crate trained, great with other dogs and cats too, I even adore children…so long as they can handle my size and energy. Yes, I am a wonderful guy but It wouldn't hurt me to learn a bit more obedience… No worries, I'm a smart one, a Sergeant, one who serves!  But I am not all business…I am a fun guy, a goofy guy, a puppy in a 70 pound package! I love to wrestle and rough house with other dogs and I play a mean game of fetch. If there is fun to be had, count me in! If there are adventure to go on, I wanna tag along! I am just a big baby boy looking for a family to make happy, could that be you? 1 year old-70lbs. My adoption fee is $200 and includes; microchip, neuter, reduced cost training class, 1 month pet health insurance, free veterinary exam , leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sarge, a Portland Labrador Retriever/Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Husky for sale in Portland, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Husky dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Husky breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
