Linus's Story...
Linus is a flame-piont Siamese-mix cat with double paws on all four paws. On top of that, he is cross-eyed, giving him a very classic Siamese look. On top of THAT, he's the friendliest, happiest guy and he really doesn't talk a lot, like many Siamese do. It is very unusual for a shelter to get in a kitty as rare as Linus. Learn more about the breed here: http://animal.discovery.com/tv-shows/cats-101/videos/siamese.htm.

Linus loves to be stroked and pet and loves to give head butts. However, he gets himself overstimulated and chomps a little - head butt, head butt, head butt, NIBBLE. He needs an owner who understands cats and can work with him on that behavior. http://www.littlebigcat.com/behavior/overstimulation-petting-related-aggression/

Do you think you can give this pretty, sweet boy a second chance?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Linus, a Worcester Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Worcester, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in Worcester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Worcester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Worcester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Worcester paves the way for another one to be saved.
