Missy's Story...
I am a very affectionate and loving sweetheart. I love lots of attention love to be petted. I enjoy playing with toy mice, scratchers and laser lights. I love other kitties too. I love to play with other nice kitties. I get along with older and younger kitties. I am well behaved, but I do like to check out what is behind a closed door, so if you open your closet make sure you don’t lock me in. I love to sleep on a couch, chair or bed, but I like to snuggle in a small basket too. I like to talk to you, but I am not a pest. I get along with all ages. I\'m a young brown tabby and white spayed female. I am negative for FELV/FIV, spayed or neutered and had one (if adult) or two (if kitten) distemper shot(s).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Missy, a Colorado Springs Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Colorado Springs, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Colorado Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colorado Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colorado Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colorado Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
