Meet your new best friend Coal. Coal is a real NYC cat, from his start as a badly injured kitten pulled at the last minute from the at risk list at the City Shelter to his present lustrous, punk rock, sweetheart self. He's a huge, rangy guy with long legs and big ears and hazy eyes. He gets along well with our dog, our daughter and reasonably with our other cats. Coal is not for everyone, he isn't a lap cat and he never fawns. He's slyly affectionate, full of odd tricks and has the most beautiful racing stripes down the back of his ears. He's had a tough life and is waiting to find the person who will love him forever. Coal was born around 9/4/12.
