My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ADOPTED

Fame is a beautiful, mellow, loving, 4yr young Blue female. She is gentle & friendly with children, ages 7+ but shy with new adults, especially men.

Fame is low energy kinda gal and spends most of her day being a couch potato (while the kids are at school) and always wants to be where the family is. She loves to go for walks and rides in the car!!! She needs some direction when out on walks as she will pull a little but a halti or gentle leader will help solve that issue!!! She loves to stretch out, run, and play when she is out with her people in the yard. Fame is naughty and will get into the trash to see if you left anything there you forgot to give her, when left home alone!!!

Fame has come a long way thanks to her foster family being so dedicated to making her whole again. She has done amazingly well! Under the circumstances, there are things she is still uncomfortable with such as: balls (they were thrown at her in a violent manner), brooms (were used to hit her) and large toys (again thrown at her).

Miss Fame is an alpha girl so she does not do well with other pets. She CANNOT be with a dog her size. She seems to be okay with smaller dogs that are calm or older so their demeanor is not threatening or challenging. In her foster home, Fame is with 2 elderly small dogs who she could care less about!

If you would like to help with her care while she is in rescue, please go our homepage: https://greatdanerescueofazalliance.com/ and click on Donate!!! Thank you for caring.

If you would like to make this lovely gal part of your family... pls contact the Alliance to set up an appt with her foster family! A home check and meet & greet with all family members is required. There is an adoption contract and an adoption fee of $475.00. 623 869-0409 Msg line
