Jagger's Story...
Jagger, along with 4 other adults and 13 kittens, were rescued from an abandoned house in Buckeye. He was very shy and afraid at first, but has learned to trust people again and is ready for his forever home. Jagger is a passive male who is very cat social and would do very well in a home with other cats, he does not like dogs! Jagger is a still shy at first with people, but warms up when he gets to know you. He is lovable, loves to be brushed and petted. He is also harness and leash trained. His favorite toys are catnip mice! Jagger's adoption fee includes his neuter, a booster vaccination, a Leukemia test and a microchip.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jagger, a Phoenix Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
