Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Charlie was rescued from Arlington Shelter off of the euthanasia list just hours before he was to be put to death. He wasn't on the adoptable list because he was scared and shy at the shelter, where he evidently did not eat much while he was there and prior. He was very underweight. Charlie now weighs around 40 lbs, which is a gain of about 8 lbs after only a month! He is about 9 months old. Almost crate trained - he does have an occasional accident if you're not watching. Typical puppy stuff though. He does sleep in his crate all night without whining. He loves other dogs including his foster moms aggressive german shepherd, her healer-pit mix, and her little maltese. He also loves kids. He does have some fear based anxiety with a few things like the vacuum and some very loud unexpected noises. Again, very common for so many puppies. He walks very well on a leash and doesn't pull. He practically heels all on his own. He is very very loving and snuggly. Charlie does cry sometimes for a few minutes when we leave the house. He's very playful and even loves going down our playscape slide and climbing his foster mommys rock ledge! He is totally submissive to her other dogs and to all people. Very, very sweet dog. On heartworm preventative.
