WATCH MY VIDEO! Ziggy is a 9 month old male Long Hair Dachshund/Terrier mix. He weighs 8 lbs and will probably be around 10lbs once full grown. He was rescued from East Valley animal shelter.

Ziggy is a happy, playful puppy who loves everyone including strangers. His favorite things are going for walks and cuddling! When you pick him up he likes to hug you with his front legs and give gentle kisses to show his affection. He is doing great on his house manners and has not been destructive. He likes toys but he is not a huge chewer. Ziggy follows all the other dogs outside for potty breaks and seems quite proud of himself. He will also use a puppy pad on those rare occasions when he has to go potty in the middle of the night.

Ziggy gets along wonderful with other dogs both big and small. He will play with another dog if invited and he will respect those who do not wish to join the party. Ziggy is very smart and in tune for being such a youngster. This boy would excel at advanced obedience or agility. He is a great all around dog!

Ziggy is neutered, microchipped, rabies, dewormed and up to date on his vaccinations. If you would like to meet Ziggy please contact Theresa at treasuredtailsrescue@hotmail.com or call 951 852-7999. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ziggy, a Bellflower Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Bellflower, or seeking a Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Bellflower.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellflower already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellflower breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellflower paves the way for another one to be saved.
