Curly's Story...
Hi, my name is Curly. My rescue moms took me from a high kill shelter to save my life. I am completely vetted current on all my shots, and am heart worm negative. I love to play and am high energy. I do well walking on a leash, and love to play in the water. My favorite thing to do is play with all of my toys. I especially LOVE the ones that have the squeaker thing in them. As much as I like it here, what I really would like is a happily ever after home. To be a member of your family would be my dream come true. I get along with other dogs and children, and would love children I can run and play with.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Curly, a Russellville Flat-Coated Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Flat-Coated Retriever for sale in Russellville, or seeking a Flat-Coated Retriever dog from a breeder in Russellville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Russellville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Russellville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Flat-Coated Retriever breeders who help with Flat-Coated Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Russellville paves the way for another one to be saved.
