Gracie's Story...
My name is 'Gracie' and I'm quite unusual because I'm a FEMALE orange tabby! Most orange tabbies are male. I don't know why that is,but I feel special! I'm here because my old owner ran out of love for me. So, I'm loooking for a new owner who will always love me. I have alot going for me: I'm sweet, fun and loving AND I'm young, just about 4 AND I'm already spayed so I'm ready to go to my new loving home, soon, I hope~!! (hint hint!) AND I have gorgeous 2 tone green eyes and a cute little pink nose!! WHEW!! There's more great stuff, but I don't want to brag....Please come in and meet me and take me out of here. I'm in cage #111.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gracie, a El Cajon Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
