Ruff Ruff! My name is Tramp
Important Note: Tramp is best friends with Lady. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
|Breed:||American Staffordshire Terrier/American Bulldog Mix||Color:||Brindle||Age:||Young|
|Size:||Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)||Sex:||Male|
I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.
This beautiful brindle boy is known as Tramp because he runs around with Lady!
He thinks he is a big baby. Tramp would like a large fenced backyard for playtime, but also likes long walks with his human. He's a chewer, and will require a large selection of toys, to occupy his time, as he doesn't really like being alone. He would do best in a home with a couple, single ladies, or retired persons. In a perfect world, Tramp would be adopted along with his girlfriend, Lady, to whom he is extremely bonded to. Tramp is a submissive, nice, exotic looking fellow. A kind lady rescued his pregnant mother and now he's looking for his forever home. If you, or someone you know, are interested in Tramp, please contact Nadia at email@example.com Thanks!

Rescue Group Info...
We rescue in a low income area of Houston called the 5th Ward. We founded Forgotten Dogs of the 5th Ward Project November of 2011 to address what we saw as an obvious need to help the many stray dogs we were seeing in there. We set up feeding stations and network and pull as many as we can when a foster home or no-kill rescue group says they can take them in. One of our goals is education and we provide residents with vouchers that cover the complete cost of having their animals altered and vaccinated against rabies. In addition, we provide other vaccinations and worming in the field free of charge. Since November 2011 we have grown in size and have rescued over 300 dogs and a few cats from the area. We are launching a program called Habitat for Hounds through which we will donate doghouses and blankets to residents for their dogs that are kept outside. Our website is forgottendogs.org and we are a 501c3.
We do not have a regular adoption site at this time, but stay tuned to our facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/ForgottenDogs5) for our upcoming events!
Our adoption fee is $125. We have an online application and a contract and all dogs/puppies are either spayed/neutered prior to adoption if old enough or arrangements are made to have them spayed/neutered afterwards.
