Ol' Man's Story...
Ol'Man is a spaniel mix we believe to be 10+ years old. He seems to be in great health and still has pep in his step! He's neutered and is housebroken granted he's able to go out a few times a day (keep in mind, he's older). Due to trauma, he is blind in his left eye and he is also quite hard of hearing but that doesn't stop him. He's very mellow and content with sleeping all day. It breaks my heart to see him living in a kennel as I feel he should be living out the rest of his years next to a fireplace on a warm rug. Up to date on vaccines (distemper/parvo, bordatella, and rabies). Rehoming fee is $75 to cover care, food, and vaccines.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ol' Man, a Wappingers Falls Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Spaniel (Unknown Type) for sale in Wappingers Falls, or seeking a Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Wappingers Falls.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wappingers Falls already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wappingers Falls breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Spaniel (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Spaniel (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wappingers Falls paves the way for another one to be saved.
