Blizzy's Story...
Meet Blizzard aka Blizzy. He is a 4 year old Australian Cattle dog/Queensland Heeler Mix. He came to Keppa Animal Rescue after his owner could no longer keep him due to her living situation. He had been with her since he was 3 weeks old, he was terribly heartbroken, and sat by the front door for days. Once he gets used to his surroundings he will develop a very strong bond with his new owners. He is shy when he firsts meets new people, but after a few days he starts to come out of his shell. He is fully trained and knows the commands, sit, stay, shake, come, and go to bed. He is kennel trained, potty trained, and leash trained. He does have some allergies, but benedryl seems to calm them. He had a sever ear infection when he arrived, and after major ear cleanings his ears are starting to heal, they do have some scaring on the inside, but his hearing has not been damaged. He loves to run around in the yard, and lounge around in the house. He craves to be with people, and get any attention that he can. He will need to go to a home with a large yard for him to play in. His favorite word is treat, when you ask him if he wants a treat his ears stand straight up, and he gets very excited. He will sit, and shake for a treat. He is good with other dogs but an introduction will be required. He is also good with cats. He is good with children, but an introduction will be required. Blizzy would do wonderful in a home where he gets quite a bit of attention, he enjoys walks, and water so an active family would be a plus. Blizzy is looking for a forever home, where he can spend the rest of his life being loved, this poor guy does not need any more heartbreak in his lifetime. He is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. If you would like more information on Blizzy please contact us today.

About Our Rescue Group...
Our mission is to help end pet over population by educating the public on spaying and neutering their animals. Rescuing unwanted adoptable animals from euthanasia, providing them with medical treatment, socialization, love and attention, and ultimately placing them in loving forever homes. Not only are we trying to save animals, we are trying to promote rescue in our community, to help lower the number of savable animals being euthanized each year. Our main goal is to lower those statistics, and save as many adoptable animals as possible.
Come Meet Our Pets...
You can meet all of our adoptable dogs at Petco Scottsdale Pavillions located at, 8910 EAST INDIAN BEND ROAD SCOTTSDALE, AZ 85250 every Saturday and Sunday from 10am-3pm.
Our Adoption Process...
Our adoption process is pretty simple. Each potential adopter is asked to fill out a pre-adoption questionnaire to ensure a proper match. When the potential adopter has decided on adoption they sign our adoption contract, then pay the specified adoption fee, and then they are officially new parents of a fur baby. Our adoption fees range from each individual dog, depending on the cost of medical care for them. (spay/neuter, vaccines, or any other medical care needed. Our adoption fees range from 50-200 dollars.
We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties...
We are a small in home rescue in Scottsdale Arizona. We serve all of Arizona, and have had adopters come from as far as Nevada.
