Why Choose me?

Max is a beautiful white pit mix. His coat is so soft that I thought he was still a pup, but he’s two years old, and at 48 pounds, also a good size. With all of the noise around him, Max was very shy about coming out of his kennel. You can see in his pictures that he was frightened. He let me pet him and wanted to stay close once he was out of his run. It started to rain, so I didn’t get to spend much time with Max. When I put him back in his kennel, he looked at me like he wanted to say, “Please stay with me.” Then he pressed himself against the gate while I petted him a little more. He seems to be a sweet and gentle boy. I plan on spending more time with Max. Hopefully, he will adjust to the sounds of Animal Control soon. If you’d like to meet Max, and he’s still feeling a little shy, ask someone at Animal Control to help you take him out. This sweet boy needs someone to help him feel safe and loved.
