My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOLLY is a gentle, 4 1/2 year old Australian Cattle Dog and is 55 pounds. Dolly is very affectionate and bright and does well with people of all ages, cats and other dogs. She is shy at first, but blossoms with love and attention. At first, she was more comfortable around women, but soon warmed up to men. Dolly is great on a leash and is housebroken and crate trained. She also does well with the doggy door. Dolly is loyal to her humans and is very playful and affectionate. Dolly has been on a diet and has lost weight with a feeding schedule and walks.

Dolly's new foster mom says her name suits her perfectly because she is such a doll! She is a bit nervous in her first couple of days in New England but is settling in just fine. She is sometimes friendly with the cats, sometimes uninterested, and she likes her new furry foster brother. She goes in and out of her crate when she feels like a rest, and is eating and socializing just fine. She likes to snuggle with her foster mom on the couch already! Dolly has free reign of the house when her foster mom is out, and is trustworthy in the house.

Dolly's foster mom says this wonderful girl has no issues. She is VERY sweet and mellow, with a lower activity level.

She would love to find her forever home!

Please note: We do not have a physical location, but we are supported by a network of wonderful foster homes that are spread throughout New England. A dog will need to be visited by a prospective adopter in the foster home where they are feeling safe and comfortable.

Thank you for considering rescue!
