Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Penelope, or Penny for short, is a three-year old Labrador mix who is 70 pounds. She is the mom of Petunia, who is also available for adoption on our site.
Penny is housebroken and crate trained. She loves to go for walks and ride in the car. Penny loves everyone she meets. She is great with kids and other dogs, and she was interested but not at all aggressive with the cats she has met.
Penny walks with a limp because at some point her leg was injured and was already healed by the time she came into rescue. Her old injury does not slow her down, and she loves to play or snuggle on the couch with her humans.
To apply to adopt this dog, please visit our website to access our application.
Please note: We do not have a physical location, but we are supported by a network of wonderful foster homes that are spread throughout New England. A dog will need to be visited by a prospective adopter in the foster home where they are feeling safe and comfortable.
