My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Although it was a very nice house, living underneath it was no life for a cat…

But, it was the safest place the frightened cat could find. Louise sought refuge under a home near Vetter Park when she became separated from her humans. That is where a good Samaritan found her and brought her to real safety at the ACF.

This 6 year old brown tabby girl was obviously owned by someone as she is social and was already spayed when she came to the ACF.

She was confused and scared when she first came to us, and so was a bit feisty during her time in quarantine. But now that she is in the cat community room, her gentle demeanor has emerged. Louise is a sweet and quiet cat who loves pets and soft attention.

Her eyes seem sad until someone takes the time to pet her and then they turn happy and she almost smiles as she nuzzles your hand. And she absolutely lights up when she sees children. We believe that she must have lived in a family that included children.

Louise has an affable side that will warm your heart if you give her the chance. Once she bonds with you, she will be a faithful and loving companion.
