Marty McFly's Story...
Marty was pulled from a local animal shelter in southern Ohio where he had spent three months before FOR rescued him! He was found as a stray and was just so timid at the shelter, he could not get anyone to look at him. In a foster home, however, Marty has thrived! He loves going for walks and playing ball in the back yard. He adores other dogs and would do very well in a home with a friend. His favorite time of the day is snuggling with him human. Marty is such a cuddler! He would prefer sleeping in bed with his person, but will happily sleep in his crate too.
Marty knows he isn't the youngest pup you'll see, but he still has lots and lots of years ahead of him! Besides, he wants to remind you that with him, you will not have to tell him to stop chewing or teach him how to use the bathroom outside. There are many advantages to an adult dog!
If you think you can give Marty the FORever home he so very much deserves, please email info@FORrescue.net for an application!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marty McFly, a Nashville Jack Russell Terrier/Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Rat Terrier for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Rat Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
