Bernie - SURVIVOR's Story...
Bernie, while not a shaggy dog is just a sweetheart, he was dumped at a local park and left to fend for himself, covered in mange and totally bald, this poor dog is a real survivor and even though he must have been in pain and lived a horrible life he is one sweet approx 2 yr old boy..26lbs. and about a year old - he is quiet and loving, very gentle.. he does love to run and play with the other rescues and can be pretty active when he wants to be, but is just a really nice and very well behaved dog, he is crate trained, He is crate trained - he looks like a black lab/border collie mix and is going to make a great family pet. He is currently attending a month long training session that is going to make him absolutely perfect!!!

Our Adoption Process...
We require all adopters to fill out an initial application so that we can check references. We try to match our dogs with a family that fits the needs and individuality of our homeless pets. We work tirelessly to find the right homes with people who will love their pets for a lifetime. We do this through email, phone, and any other means of communication to ensure a good fit.

Lexi's Angels is a group of animal advocates. We are volunteers who work tirelessly to advocate for stray and abandoned pets. We promote and place any pet that needs our help. We ensure safety to pets whether abandoned, stray, or given up by their owners.
