My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bianca is a BEAUTIFUL, 5.5lb, 10 month old female maltese that was purchsed from a Puppy Mill by a family and returned due to a heart condition. She was then turned over to our rescue group for medical attention. Even with her heart condition, Bianca is a very typical puppy that loves to play with toys, people, other dogs (BIG and small), hop in the yard, run around and play chase, and overall, just be silly. She’s extremely social and friendly, loves to be held/carried, and will bark for your attention (so you will play with her or hold her). Bianca is fully vetted, loves car rides, enjoys walks, and wants to be with humans constantly. She is almost housetrained – she does her business outside, but due to her small size, she uses a puppy pad in the house between outside trips. She does NOT do well with cats as she LOVES to chase them -in fun, not aggression. Bianca does have a hole in her heart (a grade 4 heart murmur), but is on no medication or any restrictions. She has her final checkup appointment with the cardiologist in January and then will be avaiable for adoption. It is anticipated that Bianca will lead a very normal, long life, she just needs a furever home.
