THIS IS ROMEO....a sweetheart of a dog who is still trying to figure out where he is and why he's there! This gold/white, 4-5 yr old, 14.7 lb, wide-eyed Lhasa Tzu is a doll. He is now all settled in his foster home, after coming out of the shelter with pneumonia. The Baldwin Park Shelter called us and said he was going down if we could not take him...and we couldn't let that happen. He's all well now and has come of his shell. We originally thought he was older, but he has a very playful, joyful side of him. He is definitely a lap dog...and would do well in any household setting. He should go with another laid back but playful dog.......he loves other dogs and is just beginning to show a more playful side of himself. He even has the potty training thing down....but no guarantees at your house. Have some patience and a little refresher course and he'll surprise you! He's a good eater....Romeo isn't a big kisser...but he is very affectionate and interested and curious about the world. He would be a wonderful companion to anyone...even a semi senior home (still needs and loves to be walked) and kids over 8 yrs old would be fine. Romeo...Romeo...where art thou? AT LHASA HAPPY HOMES....COME AND GET HIM!!!

Most Sundays, unless we are doing a special event, we are at My Pet Naturally (12001 W. Pico Blvd., West LA 90064) from 11a-3:30pm. You can see this, and many more, adorable pups at this weekly event! Please do call us if you are coming to see a particular dog to make sure he/she will be at adoptions (we do not bring sick dogs to our adoption events). Please bring a copy of your application and pictures of your home and yard if we have not done a home check! Most importantly, if you have a dog, make sure you bring him or her to do a compatibility match with the dog you are interested in adopting!!!
