Clara's Story...
Clara is a spunky senior brittany who can be adopted through New England Brittany Rescue ( www.nebrittanyrescue.org ).

Meet Ms. Clara! Clara is a 10 year old, sweet and happy female brittany. Clara has a spunky, outgoing and vivacious personality. She loves to give kisses, eat treats, chew on nylabones and bones, snuggle in bed, go for car rides and go outside with you. She’s good with other dogs, as long as they know that she’s the friendly boss. Cats – she ignores them. Squirrels, well they are good for barking at!

Clara’s previous family surrendered her to a shelter because they fell into hard times. Despite the loss of her family, Clara will quickly adjust to a new family in no time at all. She arrived in her foster home in high spirits and quickly made friends with everyone in the family (human and canines)!

Clara is in good health, and gets around well. She just had her teeth cleaned, and the veterinarian and staff fell in love with her. Clara is low-to-moderate energy, preferring to give kisses and hang out with you. Being an older dog, Clara needs a modest amount of exercise.

Clara weighs 43 lbs, is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccinations.

This is ADOPT A SENIOR MONTH, so if you have room in your heart for us oldies but goodies, pleaes fill out an adoption application at the New England Brittany Rescue website, www.nebrittanyrescue.org. We look forward to hearing from you. Clara eligible for the senior to senior adoption program.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Clara, a Buffalo Brittany dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Brittany for sale in Buffalo, or seeking a Brittany dog from a breeder in Buffalo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Buffalo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Buffalo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Brittany breeders who help with Brittany rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Buffalo paves the way for another one to be saved.
