Facts about Cee Cee

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Black & White Or Tuxedo
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Male
  • ID#: Cee Cee
  • Hair: Short
Cee Cee is a very friendly, outgoing and affectionate fellow who loves to be with people. He is great company, enjoys human friends, and can be counted on to be nearby, always ready to be petted. Cee Cee also enjoys playing, and bounces around your feet, and meows up at you, when he’s in the mood for fun. When it’s time for bed, he sometimes gets down under the covers for a quiet snuggle and falls asleep covered up! He especially seems to like boys and men, and he’d be happy to join a family who wants an outgoing, affectionate cat who needs playtime and lots of love.

Cee Cee is totally at ease with people. He enjoys greeting visitors at the door, and will even meow “Hello” when you come in and flop on his side. He enjoys get togethers and parties, and joins in with the guests. He even joined in a wedding reception held in his foster home, walked among the guests, sat beside them on chairs, and generally played the courteous host!

Cee Cee also has a nutty, playful streak, and would appreciate playing with interactive toys, such as dangly feather toys and laser light, and to chase stuffed mice and jingle balls. He has a goofy side, and loves to scratch his paws at mirrors, to play with the cat he sees on the other side. He’ll let you know if he needs some playtime, and make funny noises, flop over, and pat your feet! He just loves getting attention, and giving lots in return!

Cee Cee used to live in Washington, DC, public housing, but new management said everyone had to give up their pets. His owner knew he’d find a home with the help of Four Paws. Now he needs a permanent, loving home with people who will enjoy his friendly companionship and can give him the love and care he deserves.

Cee Cee is 2 1/2 years old. He is neutered, has his FVRCP and rabies vaccinations, and tests negative for FIV/FeLV.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Adoption fairs are held once or twice a month at various PETCO stores in Northern Virginia. The adoption fairs are usually held on Saturday’s from 1:00 to 5:00. Between 30 and 60 cats and kittens are shown for adoption at each fair—with the larger fairs generally occurring April through October.

While they are waiting to find permanent loving homes, our cats temporarily live in foster homes. The foster families bring the cats and kittens to the adoption fairs to be seen by potential adopters. Applicants have the opportunity to handle the cats and in some cases, meet the foster parents who can provide additional insight into a cat’s habits and personality.

Our Adoption Process...

At the adoption fairs, if you meet a kitten or cat that you want to adopt, you will be asked to complete an application and contract and leave a check for the adoption fee ($95 for an adult or $125 for un-neutered kitten of which $50 is a deposit that is refunded after you provide 4Paws proof of sterilization). We ask that you pay the adoption fee up front at the fairs in order to “put a hold” on the cat until your application is processed. If your application is not approved, your check is returned to you.

Neither cats nor kittens are sent to their new homes on the day of the fair. It usually takes 4-5 days to process the application before the cat can go to his or her adoptive home. Pre-approval is an option, though. To accelerate the adoption process, you can fax a completed application and contract to us at 703-560-9795 a few days before the fair. Adoption Applications are available on this website.
