PEARL is just that...a hidden treasure that we fortunately uncovered! This absolutely adorable white with gray tips, 12 lb, 2 yr old, Lhasa Bichon, was spotted at the South Central Shelter by our friend and rescue angel, Hillary Rosen...who found out she had been returned by the owner because she had kennel cough! They reported that "she was aggressive" which would be a death sentence for any returned dog. THAT WAS A LIE. Pearl is affectionate, kissy, loving, loves to play with toys, loves to fetch, loves to kiss other dogs....she is a gem and she even seems potty trained, except for a poop accident here and there during the rain. This darling girl gets along with everyone...she is sleeping on my bed and loves to cuddle. We have not even heard the slightest growl from her! She is easy going, but she does not like being left alone and will cry if she is. So, she really needs to go to a home where there is another dog. Pearl is a delight and will make any house a true home. She is bright and curious....but not in the least bit destructive. She loves to go for walks and would be ideal in any family....kids over 8 yrs old please. If Pearl sounds like the girl for you....come and get her! Please complete the application first!!
Our website is updated daily. Please do not apply for this dog unless your home fits the specified criteria. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, groomed, vet checked, dewormed, deflea'd and come with a leash, collar and ID tag!

Most Sundays, unless we are doing a special event, we are at My Pet Naturally (12001 W. Pico Blvd., West LA 90064) from 11a-3:30pm. You can see this, and many more, adorable pups at this weekly event! Please do call us if you are coming to see a particular dog to make sure he/she will be at adoptions (we do not bring sick dogs to our adoption events). Please bring a copy of your application and pictures of your home and yard if we have not done a home check! Most importantly, if you have a dog, make sure you bring him or her to do a compatibility match with the dog you are interested in adopting!!!
