Sophie-NJ's Story...
Sophie has really come out of her shell since our last update of 1/10/13. She has become friendly and outgoing and really enjoys her foster families company. She is still not 100% confident around other dogs but her foster mom who is a professional trainer works with her daily. Sophie is excellent with children and did very well with her recent meet and greet this weekend. She is apart of a large dog walking group and goes weekly for walks. She is excellent on the leash, does not pull. She is crate trained and house broken and a very sweet dog. She is still ball obsessed but has since learned to "drop it" and wait for her ball and enjoys a good game of fetch! This girl will make a wonderful addition to someone's home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sophie-NJ, a Virginia Beach Cane Corso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cane Corso for sale in Virginia Beach, or seeking a Cane Corso dog from a breeder in Virginia Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Virginia Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Virginia Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cane Corso breeders who help with Cane Corso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Virginia Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
