Ella-NJ's Info...

Ella-NJ's Story...
Ella is a 12 month old female brindle Cane Corso. She needs an experienced adopter that is understanding of the guardian behaviors in this breed. Ella would do best in a home with children 10 years and older. Her ideal home will have another dog as a companion. Ella came into the shelter with her sister Sophie. At this time we feel it is better that the girls are separated as Ella is very dependent on her sister. We are still working through her anxieties but she has come a long way. She is more Corso in personality, naturally protective and leery of strangers. She is continuing to become more and more outgoing and less shy but it will take more time. She is house broken and crate trained and gets along with other dogs. She is currently living with an excellent trainer and will continue to be worked with on a daily basis. Ella is located in NJ, adopter must be willing to travel to meet and adopt her.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ella-NJ, a Virginia Beach Cane Corso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cane Corso for sale in Virginia Beach, or seeking a Cane Corso dog from a breeder in Virginia Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Virginia Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Virginia Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cane Corso breeders who help with Cane Corso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Virginia Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
