Precious REDUCED FEE's Info...
| Breed: | Chihuahua Mix | Color: | White | Age: | Adult |
| Size: | Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less | Sex: | Female |
Precious is a 7 year old purebred chih. She weighs about 10 pounds. She is sweet and loves to be in your lap. She is not a needy dog, but she does love attention on her own terms. She needs a home with NO SMALL CHILDREN. In her former home she was subjected to rough treatment by the owners small kids. She will not go through that again. She would be best in a home with a laid back atmosphere. She would be excellent with a retired couple or a laid back single person. She loves cuddling in the bed with her human and her favorite spot is by the fireplace.
Precious was spayed 1-14-2013. She also had surgery to repair 2 hernia's she had in the back of her ab wall. The vet said she had more than likely had those her whole life. They were the size of golf balls. She was used for breeding, poor baby I can't imagine how bad those hernias made her feel when she was pregnant little alone when she was not. What matters now is she is taken care of and she won't hurt anymore.
She will go to her new home spayed, current on shots, hw tested and on prevention and microchipped. She will receive a certificate of health within 48 hrs of going to her new home.
We require a pre screen application and a contract to adopt. You can get that on our web site at http://www.saveamuttkennel.info please read the FAQ page while you are there.
Transport is included with adoption.
Precious's adoption fee is reduced, not because there is anything wrong with her but because we want to give her a fair shot at a home since she is a senior. The rescue has sank MUCH money in to getting Precious up to par but we don't care about that. We care about her. We want her to be happy.
Rescue Group Info...
Attention: We DO NOT have a physical shelter. Our group is foster based. Our pets are fostered mainly in VA and NC. We can ship them to their new home once they are adopted.
We pull animals from the high kill shelters in the southern states. These animals would be put to death without our intervention. Once we secure the animals we provide spay/neuter, vaccinations, heart worm testing and microchipping and any other vet care they may need. We also work on any training issues that the animal may have. We are not a shelter per say, our group is foster based. Each of our animals live in a home environment prior to going to their adoptive home.
