BOONE - Courtesy Posting's Story...
Boone is just one big ole lug of a dog. Happy go lucky and probably had spent his days hanging out with a local farmer riding around in the open bed of the truck. Boone is so very friendly with people, jumps right up into a vehicle like its second nature, and just enjoys life. We feel that he possibly did fall out of the bed of the truck and ended up so separated from his owner that Boone couldn't find his way back home. He had even been recently neutered by his owner, but to date, no owner has reclaimed. Boone is a big guy weighing 75 lbs and should be full grown at that size. He is 10 - 12 months old, has received all of his vaccines, rabies included, and has tested heart worm negative. He is currently on all monthly preventatives, and is in foster care in Mississippi. He is ready to transport to his new home at any time. Great with other dogs, cat friendly, and a favorite of children. The adoption fee of $250 covers the transport fee. Why Adoption is a Great Option

BOONE - Courtesy Posting, a Glastonbury Labrador Retriever/Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Great Dane for sale in Glastonbury, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Great Dane dog from a breeder in Glastonbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glastonbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glastonbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Great Dane breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glastonbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
