Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Black is still beautiful when it comes to our girl Ali. Ali arrived back in the late summer with her small puppy, Annabelle. The mom and pup had sought shelter in a local barn. When discovered in the barn the farmer loaded them up into his truck, drove them out onto a county road and dumped them. Then he contacted the animal control officer and told them where to pick them up. The mom and pup were in sad shape, malnourished, covered in mange, and now very frightened that they might be hurt again. Well it is amazing what a little TLC can do for a dog. Annabelle, who literally had no hair on her tiny body due to mange went from the ugly duckling to a beautiful swan and was adopted about 2 months later. Ali's mange cleared completely and with good nutrition and lots of love and care, her personality has blossomed too. She did test positive for heart worms, but she has been fully treated and now only requires the monthly preventative to keep her negative. Ali has been spayed, is up to date on vaccines, rabies included, and is maintained on all monthly preventatives. She is a great family dog or would be a great dog to take for walks or jogs. She loves the water, loves being outdoors and just is a sweet, gentle dog. She is currently with our rescue in Mississippi so please feel free to contact us about adopting this wonderful dog. Ali has been through so much and now deserves a wonderful loving and caring home. Hopefully it is yours. For adoption inquiries, contact Kathy at kathydavisday@gmail.com
