Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Angel is an adorable doggie, she weights about 15 pounds, and has long silky hair with long flags on tail and ears... she is a beautiful caramel color. She is 2-3 years old. She is VERY good with kids and also good with cats. She wants nothing more than to sit with/on you and be a lap dog. Friendly with other dogs also. She can actually 'sit' on her back legs straight upright like a bear or something. She can also 'dance' on her back feet and pretty much walk upright for several hops... she does it when she is really happy. Pet her for 5 seconds and she rolls over for belly rub! She will stay there as long as you pet her...we don't know her limit because people usually give out before she does! She walks well on a leash; oddly enough, the only distraction while leash walking would be a deer, she really wants to chase them. She doesn't react this way to other animals but really does to deer... there must be some hunter in her ancestry! She is crate trained and likes to hang out on her favorite cushion during the day. Not food aggressive at all.
Spayed and up to date on all shots. She will bark and alert you to people coming to the house, but she immediately quiets if you shush her, so she is the perfect watch dog! She would be great for any family, but especially a family with kids, or an older person who is home with her during the day...[her dream of all day belly rubs would come true]. She is a pretty 'low energy' dog but she would like to scamper around in a fenced yard. She actually looks 'sad' sometimes as she is hanging out on her cushion, but in reality, she is a very happy and friendly girl! Angel's family is no longer able to care for her and has asked our group to find a wonderful home for her . . . and we expect we will find one quickly, as she is so adorable! Please note Angel is being fostered in Tennessee, so you wouldn't be able to meet her prior to adoption. The $450 adoption fee covers the cost of spaying, all immunizations and transport to your area.
