My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tilly - Tilly is a courtesy for her family who are looking for a new home for her. Her owner gives us this description of her and her contact information.

Tilly needs a new home without young children. She is very loving and loves attention but not the type of attention young children give. She would be perfect for a home without children or with older children (teenagers) who can give her loving attention.

Tilly is 5 years old, up to date on her shots, micro-chipped, spade, house and kennel trained, travels well and is good with other dogs. She does not howl or bark like normal Beagles, but will bark to be let inside from outside since she is an indoor dog. More than willing to do a "trial" period to see if she is a good fit for your family.

Full disclaimer: Tilly absolutely cannot go into a home that has young children or the possibility of young children. She has nipped my daughter twice and just a few weeks ago bit through her lip. Tilly was provoked or food was involved all three times. If she was of an aggressive nature I would not even consider allowing her to go to a new home. Food is what she lives for. I was able to control her in this aspect before we had children but it has become more than I can control at this time in our lives. I cannot risk her biting again and that is why she cannot stay with us. I am committed to finding her new forever home where she will be cared for and loved. She is a fabulous companion.
